AIS Foundations

The Foundation seminars are created to illustrate how an individual can stretch properly without endangering the joints, muscles or connective tissue. This seminar will provide an in-depth overview of a body’s Range Of Motion and flexibility. The participant will learn Self-Stretching techniques as well as how to safely assist and teach another in the same stretching process. This will be achieved through 20% lecture and demonstration, and 80% practice amongst participants.
Advanced AIS
The Advanced AIS seminars are designed to explore the details of the applications of the AIS Protocols.Linking AIS to pathologies or conditions commonly addressed by Therapists (All Manual Therapists - Athletic, Physio, Osteo/Chiro and Massage...), Trainers, Athletes and the layperson.
We bring a greater sense of completion and balance to the AIS protocols by introducing the following:
Clinical Applications of AIS. Applying AIS to pathologies common to many manual therapists.
Isolated Strengthening. Strengthening is imperative to attaining and maintaining results.
Active Listening heightens your levels of expertise. This section is designed to hone your inherent “listening” skills with a touch that truly connects us with the tissues.
The AIS Advanced level is also a prerequisite to the 3 levels of the Teacher Training Program. Completion of these three phases will allow the candidate to teach AIS at the entry level for seminars prepared and organized coast-to-coast by the Stretching Canada administration team.
