The AIS Foundation seminars are designed for anyone concerned about wellness and health, particularly manual therapists.
This seminar demonstrates all of the stretching protocols from head to foot. With the AIS Foundations under your belt, you will feel more confident heading in tothe Advanced AIS - where we begin to to connect with tissues, applying your protocols to common- and not-so-common pathologies.
These seminars are comprised of 80% hands-on and 20% lecture and will cover both Self and Assisted stretching.

What participants will learn?
AIS Foundations - The Foundation (Basic AIS) seminars are created to illustrate how an individual can stretch properly without endangering the joints, muscles or connective tissue. This seminar will provide an in-depth overview of a body’s Range Of Motion and flexibility. The participant will learn Self-Stretching techniques as well as how to safely assist and teach another in the same stretching process. This will be achieved through 20% lecture and demonstration, and 80% practice amongst participants.
Advanced AIS - Connecting With The Tissues - The Advanced AIS seminars are designed to explore the details of the applications of the AIS Protocols.Linking AIS to pathologies or conditions commonly addressed by Therapists, Trainers, Athletes and the layperson.
We bring a greater sense of completion and balance to the AIS protocols by introducing Active Isolated Strengthening, which is imperative to attaining and maintaining results.
Active Listening heightens your levels of expertise. This section is designed to hone your inherent “listening” skills with a touch that truly connects us with the tissues.
We will also touch upon the Teacher Training Program and how a suitable candidate can earn their Stretching Canada AIS Teacher Certificate!
